The Pro Beach East/ AVP Qualifier event in Ocean City, MD hosted 30 men's teams and 12 women's teams on June 12-13. Todd Strassberger (VA) & Ihor Akinshyn (NJ) went undefeated over the two day tournament on the men's side, and Dana Fiume (NY) & Shanya Munson (FL) won the 12 team Women's bracket by defeating Cindy Phillips (CA) & Gretchen Duffner (CA) in the finals.

2010 Update: The Pro Beach East Crew will host two stops on the AVP Qualifier Tour. Those dates will be June 12 & 13, 2010 in Ocean City, Md. And August 14 & 15, 2010 in Virginia Beach, Va.
